Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: HANOI – HA LONG BAY – LAN HA BAY (L, D)
08:00 – Pick up from hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter/Opera House (if using transfer service).
11:30 – Arrive at Tuan Chau harbor, check in at waiting room.
12:00 – Transfer by tender to cruise, welcome drink, safety briefing, cabin check-in.
13:00 – Lunch onboard with Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian dishes while cruising through Halong–Lan Ha Bay.
15:00 – Explore Tra Bau area: kayaking or swimming. Relax on sundeck if you prefer.
17:30 – Cooking class, Happy Hour drinks, photo time.
19:00 – Dinner onboard.
21:00 – Night squid fishing or relax on deck, enjoy Lan Ha Bay night view.
DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – TUAN CHAU (B, L)
06:00 – Tai Chi on sundeck, sunrise views.
06:15 – Light breakfast with tea, coffee, fresh air.
07:00 – Visit Dark & Light Cave: kayaking or bamboo boat, swimming.
09:30 – Return to cabin, luggage check.
10:00 – Check-out, enjoy bay view cruise.
11:00 – Lunch onboard while cruising back to Tuan Chau.
12:00 – Tender back to harbor.
15:00 – Arrive back in Hanoi (if transfer booked).

Weather-related Policy

All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay require official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight.

If adverse weather (storms, strong winds, high waves, etc.) occurs, the Authority will suspend overnight operations to ensure safety. In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will:

Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary, or

Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.

Important Note

The Authority may issue cancellation notices on very short notice, sometimes even when guests are already on tour. From August–October, weather is more unpredictable and late announcements are more likely.
