Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay (L/D)

  • 08:00 – 08:45: Pick up from Hanoi Old Quarter by limousine bus (for guests using transfer service).

  • 11:30 – 11:45: Arrive at Rosy Cruise Lounge – Tuan Chau International Marina for check-in. Transfer by tender to Rosy Cruise.

  • 12:30 – 13:00: Welcome drink and safety briefing.

  • 13:00 – 13:15: Enjoy a delicious lunch while cruising through the stunning islets of Lan Ha Bay.

  • 15:00: Anchor at a quiet area for swimming or sunbathing.

  • 16:30: Return to Rosy Cruise.

  • 17:30: Sunset party on sundeck with fresh fruits & snacks. Happy Hour “Buy 2 Get 1 Free” (17:30–19:00).

  • 18:00: Join cooking demonstration (Vietnamese fried spring rolls).

  • 19:15: Dinner served with fresh local cuisine.

  • 21:00: Evening activities: cocktails at the bar, squid fishing, or simply relax onboard.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)

  • 06:00 – 06:30: Tai Chi session on sundeck and sunrise watching.

  • 07:00 – 07:15: Visit Light Cave area by bamboo sampan or kayak.

  • 08:30: Return to Rosy Cruise. Pack luggage and check out.

  • 09:15: Settle bills at reception. Brunch served.

  • 10:45: Disembark and transfer by speedboat to Tuan Chau Marina.

  • 11:30: Return to Hanoi by limousine bus (if booked). Arrival in Hanoi around 15:00–15:30.

Weather-related Policy

All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay require official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight.

If adverse weather (storms, strong winds, high waves, etc.) occurs, the Authority will suspend overnight operations to ensure safety. In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will:

  • Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary, or

  • Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.

Important Note: The Authority may issue cancellation notices on very short notice, sometimes even when guests are already on tour. From August–October, weather is more unpredictable and late announcements are more likely.
