Cruise Introduction
Rita Cruise is a modern cruise with 32 luxury cabins and full onboard facilities including a restaurant, three bars & lounges, fitness center, karaoke, spa & massage, and a swimming pool. The 3 days 2 nights itinerary offers a complete experience of Lan Ha Bay, including kayaking, cycling in Viet Hai village, Tai Keo Cave, Ba Trai Dao area, sunset tea party, cooking class, and squid fishing.
Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay (L/D)

08:20–08:50 Pick-up at hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter by Limousine (if using transfer service).

09:00 Departure for Halong Bay (2.5 hrs).

10:30 Short break in Hai Duong (20 minutes).

11:30–12:00 Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor.

12:00–12:30 Speedboat transfer to Rita Cruise. Welcome drink, meet captain & crew, safety briefing, and check-in.

13:00–13:30 Vietnamese seafood buffet or set-menu lunch while cruising past Con Vit Islet, Thumb Islet, and Gia Luan Harbor (Cat Ba).

15:00 Visit Dark & Bright Cave (Hang Sang & Toi) by kayak or bamboo boat (≈1 hour).

16:00 Cruise moves to Tra Bau area.

16:50 Arrive at Tra Bau.

17:30–18:30 Afternoon Tea Party with snacks and drinks. Happy Hour “Buy 2 Get 1 Free” at Mimosa Cafe Lounge & Sky Bar (5th deck).

18:30–19:10 Cooking class with the Chef of Rita Cruise (Vietnamese spring rolls and traditional dishes).

19:10–19:30 Dinner at the restaurant (4th deck).

After dinner: Squid fishing (1st deck), karaoke (5th deck), music, or drinks.
DAY 2: Viet Hai Village – Tai Keo Cave – Ba Trai Dao – Sunset Party (B/L/D)

06:45 Breakfast at the restaurant. Guests may wake up later and have breakfast before departure. Be ready by 08:30.

08:20–08:45 Transfer to the Day Boat for deeper exploration of Lan Ha Bay.

09:00 Cruise to Viet Hai dock.

10:00 Cycling trip (5 km) to Viet Hai village in Cat Ba National Park. For non-cyclists, electric cars are available.

11:30 Return to the dock, re-board the Day Boat, and continue cruising.

12:00 Lunch onboard with beautiful views.

13:00–14:00 Explore Tai Keo Cave, a tunnel cave leading to a lake known as “Dragon Eye”.

14:00–14:30 Visit hidden beaches around Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches) area.

14:30–15:30 Enjoy the scenery of Halong Bay.

16:00–16:30 Return to Rita Cruise. Refresh or relax in the jacuzzi pool.

17:15 Rita Cruise anchors at the sleeping area.

18:00 Tea break on the sundeck during sunset.

18:15 Cooking class: “How to make deep fried spring rolls”.

19:00 Dinner.

After dinner: Cocktails at the bar, wine & cigar cellar, squid fishing, or relax in your cabin. Overnight on Rita Cruise.
DAY 3: Lan Ha Bay – Frog Pond – Hanoi (B/L)

06:30–07:00 Morning exercise in the Gym Room (3rd deck).

07:00–07:45 Morning tea/coffee and breakfast with bay views.

08:00 Sightseeing at Frog Pond area (King Kong movie filming site). Option: swimming or kayaking (45 minutes).

09:30 Return to cabin, pack luggage, and check out.

10:00 Buffet lunch while cruising back.

11:00–11:20 Disembark at Tuan Chau pier by tender.

12:00–12:30 Return to Hanoi by Limousine (if booked).

Weather-related Policy
All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay require official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight.
If adverse weather (storms, strong winds, high waves, etc.) occurs, the Authority will suspend overnight operations to ensure safety. In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will:

Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary, or

Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.
Important Note
The Authority may issue cancellation notices on very short notice, sometimes even when guests are already on tour. From August–October, weather is more unpredictable and late announcements are more likely.
