DAY 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay (L/D)

08:20–08:50 Pick-up at hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter (if using transfer service).

09:00 Departure to Halong Bay (≈2.5 hrs).

10:30 Short break in Hai Duong (20 minutes).

11:30–12:00 Arrive Tuan Chau Harbor.

12:00–12:30 Speedboat transfer to Rita Cruise. Welcome drink, meet captain & crew, safety guidelines. Check-in.

13:00–13:30 Vietnamese seafood buffet or set-menu lunch while cruising past Con Vit Islet, Thumb Islet and Gia Luan Harbor (Cat Ba).

15:00 Dark & Bright Cave (Hang Sang & Toi): Kayaking OR bamboo boat (~1 hour).

16:00 The ship moves to Tra Bau Beach.

Weather-related Policy (fixed)
All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay require official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight. If adverse weather occurs, the Authority will suspend overnight operations. In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will:

Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary, or
- Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.
Important Note
The Authority may issue cancellation notices on very short notice, sometimes even when guests are already on tour. From August–October, weather is more unpredictable and late announcements are more likely.
