📍 Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: HANOI – BAI CHAY – HALONG BAY (L/D)

08:00–08:30: Depart Hanoi for Halong International Cruise Port (Bai Chay, Halong city).

12:00–12:30: Embark Oriental Sails Cruise. Welcome drink & safety briefing, check-in cabin.

13:15: Lunch onboard while cruising through stunning limestone islets. Anchor near Titop Island.

15:00–16:00: Visit Sung Sot (Surprising) Cave, one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Halong Bay.

16:00–17:00: Hike to the top of Titop Island for panoramic views or relax on the beach/swim.

17:20: Return to the cruise. Enjoy the sunset & Happy Hour at the bar.

18:00: Cooking demonstration & food décor with our chef.

19:00–21:00: Dinner served in the dining room (private dinner available upon request).

21:00–22:00: Evening activities – squid fishing, karaoke, or relaxing onboard. Overnight in Halong Bay.
DAY 2: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L)

06:30: Tai Chi session on sundeck, enjoy sunrise over the bay.

07:00–08:00: Light breakfast with tea/coffee while admiring the seascape.

08:00–09:00: Explore Luon Cave by bamboo boat with a local rower or kayak by yourself.

09:00: Return to cruise for shower.

09:30: Check out while cruising towards Bai Chay Bridge.

10:00: Lunch onboard.

11:00: Disembark at Halong International Cruise Port.

12:00–16:30: Transfer back to Hanoi. Trip ends at your hotel around 16:30.

Weather-related Policy

All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay require official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight.
If adverse weather (storms, strong winds, high waves, etc.) occurs, the Authority will suspend overnight operations to ensure safety. In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will:-
Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary, or

Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.
For specific cases, please contact us for personalized support and guidance.
Important Note
The Authority may issue cancellation notices on very short notice, sometimes even when guests are already on tour. From August–October, weather is more unpredictable and late announcements are more likely.
