Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay

08:00 – 08:30: Pick-up at Hanoi Old Quarter hotels (for guests booking transfer service).

11:30 – 12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor.

12:00: Transfer by tender to Le Journey Luxury Cruise. Welcome drink, safety briefing, and check-in.

13:15: Lunch served while cruising through Halong Bay to Lan Ha Bay, passing Finger Islet and Candle Islet.

15:00: Explore Tra Bau area – kayaking and swimming at the famous filming site of Kong: Skull Island.

17:00 – 18:00: Sunset Party on sundeck, Happy Hour, and Cooking Class (Vietnamese dishes and fruit/vegetable carving).

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Viet Hai Village – Cat Ba Island

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay – Quan Y Cave – Hanoi

07:15: Transfer to Gia Luan Port, then by car to visit Quan Y Cave – a historical wartime field hospital hidden inside a limestone mountain.

Weather-related Policy
All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay require official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight.
If adverse weather (storms, strong winds, high waves, etc.) occurs, the Authority will suspend overnight operations to ensure safety. In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will:

Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary, or

Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.
Important Note
The Authority may issue cancellation notices on very short notice, sometimes even when guests are already on tour. From August–October, weather is more unpredictable and late announcements are more likely.
