Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay

08:00 – 08:30: Pick-up from Hanoi Old Quarter hotels (for guests booking transfer service).

11:30 – 12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor.

12:00: Transfer by tender to Le Journey Luxury Cruise. Welcome drink, safety briefing, and cabin check-in.

13:15: Lunch served while cruising past Halong Bay and into Lan Ha Bay. Admire limestone towers such as Finger Islet and Candle Islet.

15:00: Explore Tra Bau area – kayak or swim in the famous location from the movie Kong: Skull Island.

17:00 – 18:00: Sunset Party on sundeck, Happy Hour, and Cooking Class (learn to make Vietnamese dishes).

19:00: Enjoy a deluxe dinner onboard.

20:30 – 22:00: Evening activities: squid fishing, karaoke, movies, spa, bar drinks, or simply relax in your cabin.
Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Quan Y Cave – Hanoi

05:45 – 06:00: Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Light breakfast with tea, coffee, and pastries.

07:15: Transfer to Quan Y Cave by tender and car (20 minutes). Explore this historic cave, once a wartime field hospital.

09:00: Return to Le Journey Luxury Cruise. Check out and hand in room key.

09:45: Brunch served while cruising back to harbor.

10:30 – 11:30: Disembark at Tuan Chau Harbor. Shuttle bus returns to Hanoi, arriving at hotels around 15:00–16:00. Trip ends.

Weather-related Policy
All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay require official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight.
If adverse weather (storms, strong winds, high waves, etc.) occurs, the Authority will suspend overnight operations to ensure safety. In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will:

Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary, or

Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.
Important Note
The Authority may issue cancellation notices on very short notice, sometimes even when guests are already on tour. From August–October, weather is more unpredictable and late announcements are more likely.
