Itinerary (3 Days 2 Nights)

Day 1: Ha Noi → Ha Long Bay

• 08:00 – 09:00 | Pick up on request
  Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi by shuttle bus (on request). After that, we leave Hanoi for 2.5 hours to reach Halong Bay.

• 11:45 | Sitting in waiting lounge
  Arrive at Halong Lily Cruise’s waiting lounge – Tuan Chau International Marina; from here a tender boat will take you to the cruise. A refreshing welcome drink is served and you can check into your cabin.

• 12:15 | Boarding the cruise
  Transfer by tender to Lily Cruise. Welcome drink is served and check in to your cabin.

• 13:00 | Have lunch
  Buffet lunch is served in the restaurant while you enjoy the amazing scenery. Cruise amongst hundreds of islands; pass by Duck and Thumb islets en route to Luon Cave area.

• 14:50 | Explore Titop Island
  Visit Titop Island: swim at the beach or hike to the top for a panoramic bay view.

• 16:00 | Explore Sung Sot Cave
  Visit Sung Sot (Surprising) Cave with your tour guide – an impressive and truly amazing cave to experience.

• 17:00 | Afternoon tea & fresh spring-roll making class
  Return to the cruise as the sun sets; relax on the sundeck with coffee, tea and fruits or order your favorite drink while the boat moves to the overnight anchoring area. Your tour guide will show you how to make fresh spring rolls to enjoy right away.

• 19:15 | Have dinner
  Dinner is served with local seafood. After dinner, relax at the bar or on the top deck, or try night squid fishing.

  Free squid-fishing gear is available at reception. Overnight on Lily Cruises.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay (Day boat)

• 06:00 | Do exercise
  Warm up your day with a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck with a breathtaking sunrise view over Halong Bay.

• 06:30 | Have breakfast
  Light breakfast is served at the restaurant.

• 08:00 | Explore Trinh Nu Cave
  Leave Lily Cruise on a smaller day boat and cruise to the southern part of Halong Bay; do sightseeing and pass Face Stone and Horse Mountain before going to Trinh Nu Cave. Visit Rooster Cave for kayaking; you will kayak in Virgin Cave and Roche Cave.

• 12:00 | Have lunch
  Lunch served on the day boat by the crew.

• 13:15 | Visit Ba Trai Dao area
  Free swimming in the Ba Trai Dao area (Lan Ha Bay).

• 14:00 | Visit pearl farm
  On the way back, see Frog Stone and Satan Stone; then visit the pearl farm to learn about the pearl cultivation process.
  Return to the main ship; Lily Cruise is waiting for you at Titop Island to welcome you back on board.

• 17:30 | Happy Hour & traditional Vietnamese cooking class
  Happy Hour (17:30 – 19:00): buy 2 get 1 free on drinks at the bar and sunset party on the sundeck.
  Join our traditional Vietnamese cooking class on the sundeck under the guidance of our experienced Chef (in the restaurant if weather is inclement).

  Enjoy dinner in the shimmering atmosphere of thousands of stars.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay → Ha Noi

  Tai Chi on the sundeck with a breathtaking sunrise view.

  Morning view of beautiful landscape with coffee or tea; enjoy breakfast in the fresh air.

• 07:15 | Visit Luon Cave
  Start your journey at Luon Cave – the cave with unique archway architecture in Halong Bay. Choose kayak or bamboo boat.

• 09:30 | Check out
  Check out of the cabin and settle bills while cruising back to harbor; pass iconic islets such as Fighting Cocks (symbol of Halong Bay), Incense Burner, and Stone Dogs.

• 09:45 | Have brunch
  Brunch is served on board during the cruise towards the harbor.

• 10:40 | End of the journey
  Disembark Halong Lily Cruise and travel by tender back to Lily Cruise’s waiting lounge.

  Weather-related Policy

• All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay must obtain official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight on the bay.

  In the event of adverse weather conditions (storms, strong winds, high waves, etc.), the Bay Management Authority will suspend all overnight cruise operations to ensure traveler safety. In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will:

  • Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary, or

  • Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.
    For specific circumstances, please contact us directly for personalized support and guidance.

  Important Note
  The Bay Management Authority often issues overnight cancellation notices at very short notice. This may result in situations where guests are already on tour when the cancellation is announced. During August–October, weather in Ha Long and Lan Ha can be highly unpredictable and cancellations may be announced late.
