Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Lan Ha Bay (L/D)

11:45 – Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor.
12:15 – 13:00 – Transfer by tender to Velar Of The Seas Cruise. Welcome drink & safety briefing.
13:15 – Lunch served in the restaurant while sailing through Lan Ha Bay.
14:45 – 16:10 – Explore Dark & Bright Cave by kayak or bamboo boat.
16:45 – 17:30 – Swimming at Tra Bau area or relaxing in the onboard pool.
17:30 – Sunset Party with fruits & snacks at Velar Sky Bar, plus Happy Hour.
18:00 – Join Vietnamese cooking demonstration.
19:00 – Signature dinner in the restaurant.
20:30 – 22:30 – Evening leisure: squid fishing, spa, karaoke, cocktails, or relaxing on the sundeck.

Day 2: Viet Hai Village – Ba Trai Dao Beach (B/L/D)

06:00 – Tai Chi on sundeck, sunrise photography.
07:00 – Breakfast in the restaurant.
08:00 – Transfer to day cruise, heading to Viet Hai Village.
10:30 – Cycling or electric car tour through rainforest paths & rice fields, visiting ancient local houses and experiencing village life.
12:00 – Return to day cruise for lunch.
13:30 – Relax and swim at Ba Trai Dao Beach – the most pristine beach in Lan Ha Bay.
14:45 – Transfer back to Velar Of The Seas Cruise.
15:30 – Enjoy afternoon tea, cooking class, and sunset party on board.
19:00 – Dinner in the restaurant.
20:30 – Evening leisure: cocktails, karaoke, squid fishing, spa, or relaxing on deck.

Day 3: Tra Bau – Tuan Chau Marina (B/Brunch)

06:00 – Tai Chi on the sundeck.
06:30 – Light breakfast with pastries, tea, and coffee.
07:30 – Explore Tra Bau area – filming location of Kong Skull Island and floating fish farm.
09:00 – 09:30 – Pack luggage & check out.
09:30 – 10:20 – Brunch served while cruising back to harbor.
10:30 – Transfer by tender to the dock.
11:15 – Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina.

Weather-related Policy

All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay require official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight.

If adverse weather (storms, strong winds, high waves, etc.) occurs, the Authority will suspend overnight operations to ensure safety. In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will:

Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary, or
Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.

Important Note:

The Authority may issue cancellation notices on very short notice, sometimes even when guests are already on tour.
From August–October, weather is more unpredictable and late announcements are more likely.
