Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay (L/D)

  • 08:00: Pick-up from Hanoi Old Quarter (if transfer booked).

  • 11:30: Arrive at Verdure Lotus Grandeur Cruise lounge for check-in.

  • 12:15: Transfer to the cruise. Welcome drink and safety briefing by Cruise Manager.

  • 13:00: Buffet lunch served onboard while cruising past Fighting Cock Islet and Finger Islet.

  • 14:30 – 16:00: Explore Luon Cave by kayak or bamboo boat.

  • 16:00 – 17:00: Visit Titop Island. Hike to the top for panoramic views or enjoy swimming.

  • 17:30 – 19:00: Sunset Party on board with Happy Hour.

  • 18:30: Join a Vietnamese cooking class guided by the chef.

  • 19:15: Enjoy a fine dinner while admiring the night sky.

  • 20:30: Free time – karaoke, bar drinks, or squid fishing.

Day 2: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)

Weather-related Policy

All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay require official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight.

If adverse weather (storms, strong winds, high waves, etc.) occurs, the Authority will suspend overnight operations to ensure safety. In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will:

  • Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary, or

  • Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.

Important Note
The Authority may issue cancellation notices on very short notice, sometimes even when guests are already on tour.
From August–October, weather is more unpredictable and late announcements are more likely.
