Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong – Lan Ha Bay (L, D)

  • 07:30 – 08:00 Pick-up at Hanoi Old Quarter (for guests using Aspira transfer).

  • 11:30 – 12:00 Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina, transfer by tender to Aspira Cruise.

  • 12:30 – 12:45 Check-in, welcome drink, safety briefing, and cabin check-in. Lunch served in the panoramic restaurant while cruising to Lan Ha Bay.

  • 14:30 – 15:30 Visit Dark & Light Cave by kayaking or bamboo boat rowed by locals. Afterwards, swim near the cruise.

  • 17:30 – 18:30 Sunset Party & Happy Hour on the sundeck, relax in the Jacuzzi, sunbathe, or join a cooking class.

  • 19:15 Dinner in the luxury restaurant.

  • 20:45 Evening leisure: squid fishing, enjoying drinks at the bar, spa treatments, or relaxing in your cabin. Overnight onboard.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Hanoi (B, L)

  • 06:00 Start your day with Tai Chi on deck, sunrise watching, or workout in the gym.

  • 07:00 – 07:30 Light breakfast in the restaurant.

  • 07:30 – 08:30 Morning kayaking in Lan Ha Bay.

  • 09:30 Check-out, enjoy brunch while cruising back to port.

  • 10:30 – 10:45 Transfer by tender back to Tuan Chau Marina.

  • 11:15 – 12:00 Disembark. For guests using transfer, return to Hanoi and arrive around 15:00.

All vehicles are modern, air-conditioned, and operated by experienced drivers. Pick-up and drop-off available at hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Weather-related Policy

All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay require official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight.

If adverse weather (storms, strong winds, high waves, etc.) occurs, the Authority will suspend overnight operations to ensure safety. In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will:

  • Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary, or

  • Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.

Important Note

  • The Authority may issue cancellation notices on very short notice, sometimes even when guests are already on tour.

  • From August–October, weather is more unpredictable and late announcements are more likely.
