The Calypso Cruise 2 Days 1 Night is one of the newest members of Oriental Sails JSC’s Luxury Collection. Featuring 20 spacious cabins (from 20.5 m² each) and a unique outdoor swimming pool on the sundeck, Calypso Cruise brings timeless experiences across both Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. This deluxe 4★ journey is designed for travelers who seek comfort, authentic activities, and stunning scenery in the Gulf of Tonkin.

Itinerary

Day 1: Tuan Chau – Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay

Embark from Tuan Chau Wharf and transfer by small boat to Calypso Cruise. Welcome drinks and check-in formalities.
Lunch served while cruising through the stunning limestone formations of Ha Long Bay towards Lan Ha Bay.
Explore Dark & Bright Cave by kayak or local sampan boat, entering a hidden lagoon surrounded by karst cliffs.
Swimming in the sea or relaxing in the outdoor swimming pool on the sundeck.
Sunset party with happy hour promotions. Participate in a cooking demonstration.
Dinner in the onboard restaurant.
Evening activities: squid fishing, karaoke, movies, or relaxation on deck. Overnight in Lan Ha Bay.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba Island – Tuan Chau

Tai Chi session on the sundeck at sunrise.
Breakfast onboard.
Transfer to Cat Ba Island, short bus ride to visit Trung Trang Grotto, located inside Cat Ba National Park.
Return to the cruise, shower, and check-out.
Brunch served before disembarkation at Tuan Chau Wharf. End of trip around 10:30–11:15 AM.

Notes & Safety Information

Passengers must present passport for overnight registration.
Personal information must be submitted prior to departure.
Itinerary may change due to weather, tide, or port regulations.
Meals may be adjusted to set menu for groups under 25 guests.
Certain travelers are not recommended for overnight cruise (over 80 years old, >120kg, severe disabilities, epilepsy, claustrophobia, etc.).
Environmental policy: Halong Bay strictly prohibits plastic bags and single-use plastic bottles. Violations may result in service refusal and fines (Notice No. 475/TB-UBND & 370/BQLVHL/NVNC).
Please follow all safety instructions from the cruise staff, especially during kayaking and swimming.
Weather-related Policy
👉 Note: All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay must obtain official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight on the bay.

In the event of adverse weather conditions (storms, strong winds, high waves, etc.), the Bay Management Authority will suspend all overnight cruise operations to ensure the safety of travelers.

In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will offer the following options:
- Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary.
- Or provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.
- For specific circumstances, please contact us directly for personalized support and guidance.
Important Note

The Bay Management Authority often issues overnight cancellation notices at very short notice. This may result in situations where guests are already on tour when the cancellation is announced. We kindly ask for your understanding in such circumstances.

During the period of August to October, the weather in Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay can be highly unpredictable. As a result, overnight cruises are more likely to be canceled on short notice, with official announcements often made quite late.
